District Responsibilities With respect to all sums deducted by the District pursuant to authorization of the employee, whether for membership dues or equivalent fees, the District agrees promptly to remit such monies to the Association together with an alphabetical list of unit members for who such deductions have been made, categorizing them as to membership or non-membership in the Association, and indicating any changes in personnel from the list previously furnished.
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 7.01 Except to the extent provided herein, this Agreement in no way restricts the Employer in the management and direction of the Public Service.
Department Responsibilities The use of sick leave may properly be denied if these procedures are not followed. Abuse of sick leave on the part of the employee is cause for disciplinary action. Departmental approval of sick leave is a certification of the legitimacy of the sick leave claim. The department head or designee may make reasonable inquiries about employee absences. The department may require medical verification for an absence of three (3) or more working days. The department may also require medical verification for absences of less than three (3) working days for probable cause if the employee had been notified in advance in writing that such verification was necessary. Association Responsibilities 1. The organization shall keep an adequate itemized record of its financial transactions and shall make available annually to the City Clerk, and to all unit employees, within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of its fiscal year, a detailed written financial report thereof in the form of a balance sheet and an operating statement, certified as to its accuracy by its president and the treasurer or corresponding principal officer, or by a certified public accountant.
Resident Responsibilities The Resident agrees to pay all fees specified, to observe all rules and regulations of the University of Connecticut and to abide by the Responsibilities of Community Life: The Student Code, this contract and any addendum, as well as other University publications/policies. General Responsibilities Issuer hereby engages Distributor to act as exclusive distributor of the shares of each class of the Funds. The Funds subject to this Agreement as of the date hereof are identified on SCHEDULE A, which may be amended from time to time in accordance with Section 11 below. Sales of a Fund's shares shall be made only to investors residing in those states in which such Fund is registered. After effectiveness of each Fund’s registration statement, Distributor will hold itself available to receive, as agent for the Fund, and will receive by mail, telex, telephone, or such other method as may be agreed upon between Distributor and Issuer, orders for the purchase of Fund shares, and will accept or reject such orders on behalf of the Fund in accordance with the provisions of the applicable Fund’s prospectus. Distributor will be available to transmit orders, as promptly as possible after it accepts such orders, to the Fund’s transfer agent for processing at the shares’ net asset value next determined in accordance with the prospectuses.
Fiscal Responsibilities The School shall maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records, practice governmental accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and use public funds in a fiscally responsible manner.
Union Responsibilities Except for claims resulting from errors caused by defective City equipment, the Union agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City for any loss or damage arising from the operation of this Article.
Agency Responsibilities Agency is responsible for (a) Agency’s use of Axon Devices; (b) breach of this Agreement or violation of applicable law by Agency or an Agency end user; and (c) a dispute between Agency and a third-party over Agency’s use of Axon Devices.
