Anticipated Temporary Disability. Whenever sick leave is to be taken for hospitalization planned in advance of a teacher’s absence, and/or convalescence and recuperation from a physical disability, the teacher’s attending physician must certify the cause of disability and the period the teacher is unable to work because of that disability.
