Common use of Appeal to Board Clause in Contracts

Appeal to Board. If the Association is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance in Step 3, or if no disposition has been made within five (5) working days of such meeting (or ten work days from the date of filing, whichever shall be later), the grievance shall be transmitted to the Board by filing a written copy thereof. Such transmission to the Board shall occur not later than fifteen (15) working days after the date of filing in Step 3. The Board no later than its next meeting or within ten (10) work days, whichever shall be later, shall meet with the Association on the grievance. The Board shall provide the Association with a written disposition of the grievance within seven (7) working days of this meeting.
