Common use of Appearance as Witness on the Employer's Business Clause in Contracts

Appearance as Witness on the Employer's Business. (i) Any employee who is required or summoned to appear in Court on behalf of the Employer will be paid up to eight (8) hours at the straight time rate of pay. Employees who are required to appear in Court on behalf of the Employer on their day off will be paid a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the straight time rate of pay.
