APPLICATION OF BARGAINING UNIT SENIORITY. Bargaining unit seniority shall be applied to rights related to transfers, shift bids, leave approvals, and other assignments if required by this agreement. For employees entering Xxxx 0 after February 1, 1992 only seniority earned while a Highway Patrol Trooper or Sergeant will qualify a Trooper for the five percent (5%) additional step to be paid upon reaching ten (10) years seniority under Article 60.
