Application of Fringe Benefit Contribution. Effective July 11, 1999, the County shall apply the fringe benefit contribution first toward the health, dental, basic life, supplemental life insurance, and long-term disability programs in which the employee is enrolled. The difference between the County's contribution toward the employee's insurance program and the actual amount paid by the County toward the employee's total benefit package shall be applied towards up to one- half of the employee's normal retirement contribution pursuant to Section 31581.1 of the California Government Code.
