Application of the Workers Compensation Act. All employees shall be covered by the Workers Compensation Act. An employee prevented from performing their regular duties with the Employer as a result of an accident, that is covered by the Workers Compensation Act, which occurred while performing work for the Employer, shall receive injury on duty leave without pay for the period the employee receives Workers Compensation benefits.
