Approved Leaves of Absence Without Pay. Upon request by the employee on the appropriate district form, a leave without pay may be granted at the sole discretion of the District. This section is not subject to the grievance procedures included in this agreement. Leaves without pay granted in a fiscal year under this section are subject to the following: Up to 10 days in a fiscal year: must be recommended by the supervisor and approved by the appropriate vice president and the Associate Xxxx of Human Resources. Over 10 days in a fiscal year: must be recommended by administration and approved by the Board of Trustees. 7.5.1 regarding benefits for employees on continuous leaves longer than 30 calendar days.)
