Common use of Arbitration with Contractor Clause in Contracts

Arbitration with Contractor. If any claim arises under the Construction Contract Documents for the Project and is submitted to arbitration, and either Contractor or University claims that the acts or omissions of Design Professional are involved, in whole or in part, any claim by University against Design Professional arising out of or in connection therewith may be asserted, at the option of University, against Design Professional in the same arbitration proceeding which shall be conducted under the procedures specified in the General Conditions of the construction contract.
