Archaeological Activities. The conduct of archaeological activities, including without limitation survey, excavation, and artifact retrieval, may occur only following the submission of an archaeological field investigation plan prepared by the Grantor and approved in writing by the Grantee and the State Archaeologist of the Massachusetts Historical Commission (Massachusetts General Laws, chapter 9, section 27C, 950 C.M.R. 70.00).

Ch.9. Section 27C, 950 CMR 70.00). TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the said Historic Preservation Restriction, unto the said Grantee and its successors and permitted assigns. This HISTORIC PRESERVATION RESTRICTION AGREEMENT may be executed in two counterparts and by each party on a separate counterpart, each of which when so executed and delivered shall be an original, but both of which together shall constitute one instrument.
