Common use of ARTICLE REPORTING ALLOWANCE Clause in Contracts

ARTICLE REPORTING ALLOWANCE. An employee who reports for work at the Employer's job site or shop unless directed not to report the previous day by his Employer, and for whom no work is available due to reasons other than inclementweather, shall receive a minimum of four hours' reportingtime, and shall remain at other work if requested to do so by the xxxxxxx. An employee who reports for work at the Employers job site or shop unless directed not to report and for whom no work is available, due to inclementweather shall receive a minimum of two hours reporting time provided the employee remains on the job for two hours after his designated starting time, if requested to do so by the xxxxxxx.

If an employee is directed to work and commences to work, the provisions of Article shall apply.

It is understood that employees receiving reporting allowance under the terms of Clause and shall also receive travel allowance where applicable.
