Assignment Vacancy. 17 In the event a vacancy occurs on a platoon because of resignation, death, etc., 18 or an employee requests to open their position for assignment, that opening shall 19 be posted in all stations for ten (10) days, during which the Fire Chief or designee 20 will receive assignment requests. The member with the highest classification 21 seniority shall be awarded the assignment.
