Public Hearing 7. In the course of each proceeding, the competent investigating authority shall:
Public Hearings If public hearings on the scope of work are held during the period of the Agreement, Contractor will make available to testify the personnel assigned to this Agreement. The Energy Commission will reimburse Contractor for compensation and travel of the personnel at the Agreement rates for the testimony which the Energy Commission requests.
Employment with Public Agency Consultant, if an employee of another public agency, agrees that Consultant will not receive salary or remuneration, other than vacation pay, as an employee of another public agency for the actual time in which services are actually being performed pursuant to this Agreement.
Court Witness Nurses who are subpoenaed or requested by the Medical Center to appear as a witness in a court case during their normal time off duty will be compensated for the time spent in connection with such an appearance in accordance with the applicable rate of pay. The court witness pay will be assigned to the Medical Center.
Public Health Public Health activities and reporting to the extent permitted by Applicable Law.
Our contract with you 3.1. This agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all previous agreements and understandings between the parties.
Hearing The grievance shall be heard by a single arbitrator and both parties may be represented by such person or persons as they may choose and designate, and the parties shall have the right to a hearing at which time both parties will have the opportunity to submit evidence, offer testimony, and make oral or written arguments relating to the issues before the arbitrator. The proceeding before the arbitrator shall be a hearing denovo.
Jury or Court Witness Duty The Employer shall grant leave of absence without loss of seniority to an employee who is called as a juror or witness in any court. The Employer shall pay such an employee the difference between the normal earnings and the payment received for jury service or court witness, excluding payment for travelling, meals, or other expenses. The employee will present proof of service and the amount of pay received.
