Court Witness. Nurses who are subpoenaed or requested by the Medical Center to appear as a witness in a court case during their normal time off duty will be compensated for the time spent in connection with such an appearance in accordance with the applicable rate of pay. The court witness pay will be assigned to the Medical Center.
Court Witness. 10.01 Where an employee is absent by reason of a subpoena to serve as a witness, the employee may opt to:
Court Witness an employee acting as a witness under subpoena is allowed time off with pay from scheduled basic hours during such absence. An employee acting as a voluntary witness is not paid for such absence.
Court Witness. CPT2.01 Where an employee receives an official notice, and is required by the employer to serve as a witness for an OPP related matter incurred in the carrying out of the employee's duties on behalf of the OPP, the employee will identify the date(s) required to attend. The supervisor will schedule the employee to attend as part of the employee's regular working schedule.
Court Witness. Nurses who are subpoenaed to appear as a 22 witness or to submit a deposition in a job-related court case, where the nurse is 23 not a party adversary, during their normal time off duty, will be compensated for 24 the time spent in connection with such activity in accordance with the applicable 25 rate of pay. Any court witness pay will be assigned to the Employer. 26
Court Witness. CAD 8.01 Where a cadet receives an official notice and is required by the employer to serve as a witness for an OPP related matter incurred in the carrying out of the cadet’s duties on behalf of the OPP, the employee will identify the date(s) required to attend. The supervisor will schedule he cadet to attend as part of the cadet’s regular working schedule.
Court Witness. Employees subpoenaed to appear as a witness in a case in court shall be excused for that purpose without loss of pay. A copy of the subpoena shall be filed with the employee’s manager. Any witness fees shall be paid to the College. Excluded are those instances in which an employee is a complaining party or a witness for a complaining party in a legal proceeding against the College.
Court Witness. Support staff members who are called to appear as witnesses in court in line with their duty will continue to receive pay as if they were on regular duty during the time of service as a witness. If the support staff member receives a fee, the amount of the fee will be remitted to the business office upon receipt. The Board of Education will not excuse a support staff member with pay to serve as a witness against either the Board or any of its constituent boards of education.
Court Witness. Any employee who is called as a witness in court for a case concerning the Company shall be paid for all time lost if called to testify during his/her working hours. If witness fees are paid, the employee shall refund them to the Company.
