Assistant Professor. An Assistant Professor is a member of a Faculty of the University who shall ordinarily have the following minimum qualifications: (a) A doctoral degree; (b) Aptitude for teaching university students. The doctoral requirement may be waived if the Candidate has a record of suitable teaching, scholarship as defined in Article 1.1(n); or, in lieu of such a record, has professional qualifications and experience to enable him/her to make an appropriate academic contribution to the University.
