Assistive Devices. The Municipality of Kincardine will allow persons with disabilities to use their own personal assistive devices to obtain, use or benefit from the goods or services offered by the Municipality of Kincardine. Should a person with a disability be unable to access the Municipality’s goods or services through the use of their own personal assistive device, the Municipality of Kincardine will ensure the following steps are taken:

Assistive Devices. We are committed to serving people with disabilities who use assistive devices to obtain, use or benefit from our goods and services. We will ensure that our staff and faculty are trained and familiar with various assistive devices that may be used by customers with disabilities while accessing our goods or services. We will also ensure that staff and faculty know how to use the following assistive devices available on our premises for customers, including powered doors, an elevator, and key- cards.
Assistive Devices a. Applicable to Seaborne’s DHC-6 aircraft (less than 30 seats), there are no specialized lifts, boarding chairs or other devices that can be adapted to assist with enplaning or deplaning passengers with severe mobility issues. Passengers must be able to ascend/descend seven (7) stairs, enter a door, and make their way to their seat in a crouched position on these aircraft. Seaborne personnel are not required to physically carry a person of limited mobility by hand, but may offer stabilization or balance to the passenger if requested.
Assistive Devices. Mobility and other assistive devices used by a Qualified Individual with a Disability may be carried in the aircraft cabin at no charge in addition to the Carry-on Item allowance. If necessary due to the Passenger’s disability, ExpressJet will provide assistance in loading, stowing, and retrieving Personal Items and Carry-on Items, including assistive devices. If the device cannot be carried in the aircraft cabin in accordance with FAA regulations, the device will be checked and carried free of charge. Assistive devices not for the personal use of the Passenger will be accepted subject to a limited release of liability and may be subject to oversized or overweight charges as described in Section 10.

  • Protective Devices Protective devices, wearing apparel, and other equipment necessary to protect employees from injury shall be provided by the County in accordance with practices now prevailing or as such practices may be improved from time to time by the County.

  • Mobile Devices Mobile devices which are issued by and belonging to the Contractor for purposes of processing Personal Data should have access control measures and remote wipe capability turned on. Procedures should be in place to report and wipe data off lost mobile devices immediately after detection of loss.

  • Devices BNY Mellon will restrict the transfer of Customer Data from its network to mass storage devices. BNY Mellon will use a mobile device management system or equivalent tool when mobile computing is used to provide the services. Applications on such authenticated devices will be housed within an encrypted container and BNY Mellon will maintain the ability to remote wipe the contents of the container.

  • Intercept Devices 26.1.1.1 Local and federal law enforcement agencies periodically request information or assistance from local telephone service providers. When either Party receives a request associated with an End User of the other Party, it shall refer such request to the Party that serves such End User, unless the request directs the receiving Party to attach a pen register, trap-and-trace or form of intercept on the Party's facilities, in which case that Party shall comply with any valid request.
