Assistive Technology the Workforce. Solutions Operator must ensure that assistive technology shall be available for those participants with hearing, vision, or speech impairments. Auxiliary aids and services, including a TTY phone line, shall be available upon request to individuals with disabilities. Additionally, the physical layout of the room shall meet ADA requirements. In general, the Workforce Solutions Operator shall ensure facility accessibility including access to services such as interviewing and testing, and access to information, such as information technology equipment accessibility, and software accessibility. All Subrecipient staff shall be required to attend training in program access for individuals with disabilities and access to employment programs and services for the disabled. The Subrecipient’s staff is required to attend training in program access for customers with disabilities and specialized populations (i.e., homeless population, re-entry population, etc.) Special equipment shall be available for those customers who are hearing and seeing impaired. Auxiliary aids and services, including a TTY phone line, shall be available upon request to individuals with disabilities. The physical layout of the room must meet ADA requirement.
