Common use of Association Officials Time Off Clause in Contracts

Association Officials Time Off. An Association Official who is an employee in the bargaining unit, shall be granted reasonable time-off without loss of pay for grievance processing/investigation and contract negotiation activities. Such activities shall not interfere with the normal routine functions of the Department.

Association Officials Time Off. An Association Official who is an employee in the bargaining unit, unit (no more than one (1) Xxxxxxx and/or no more than three (3) of the Association's Negotiating Committee) shall be granted reasonable time-off without loss of pay for grievance processing/investigation and contract negotiation activities. Such while conducting business vital to the employees in the bargaining unit; provided however, such activities shall do not in any way interfere with the normal routine functions of the Department. No added cost to the Employer shall result in the exercise of this Section.
