At-Sea Monitoring. If the trip is selected for coverage under the 6 ASM Program, Vessels shall follow all appropriate Sector ASM 7 Program protocols and processes as outlined in this section. 8 Sector Vessels selected for ASM coverage are not allowed to set 9 sail until the ASM arrives and is onboard or a waiver is granted 10 by the ASM Provider(s).
At-Sea Monitoring. If the trip is selected for coverage under the 22 ASM Program, Vessels shall follow all appropriate Sector ASM 23 Program protocols and processes as outlined in this section.
At-Sea Monitoring. 27 The SHS2 will participate in the Northeast Fisheries Observer Program (NEFOP) and the 28 NMFS and/or industry-funded at-sea monitoring (ASM) program while they operate. 29 This ASM coverage will have vessel and trip selection coordinated through NMFS and 30 will use approved at-sea providers and monitors. The Sector manager will maintain a 31 database of all catch data, including but not limited to VTR, dealer, monitor, and observer 32 data. NMFS will provide the Sector with data from NEFOP and the ASM program. 33 The SHS2 will contract one or more of the companies approved by NOAA Fisheries to 34 provide monitoring services and will notify NOAA Fisheries of its selection no later than 35 April 1, 2021.

The Sector manager will maintain a 30 database of all catch data, including but not limited to VTR, dealer, monitor, and observer 31 data. The Sector manager will maintain a database of all catch data, including but not limited to VTR, dealer, monitor, and observer data. NMFS will provide the Sector with data from NEFOP and the ASM program.
At-Sea Monitoring. 19 The TSS does not plan to have any additional At Sea Monitoring coverage beyond that 20 provided by NMFS as part of the NEFOP.
