Trip Selection. The designated Trip Drivers will have trip selection prior to any other driver receiving trips. Any driver with regular am and pm runs over 30 hours will be allowed to sign up for a Secondary Trip List. These drivers will be assigned when the trip drivers reach a minimum of forty (40) hours per week. In the event that both the Primary Trip Drivers List and the Secondary Trip Drivers List are at forty (40) hours, the Trip Advisor will go back to the Primary Trip Drivers List and offer the trip to the next driver on the list. Starting at the beginning of the school year, trips will be posted and bid upon by seniority; starting at the top of the Primary Trip Driver List, continuing until the list is exhausted. Once the list is exhausted, the process will start over at the top.

A member of the Union Trip Committee shall be given notification within 24 hours of this assignment. The Director of Transportation or his/her designee will notify the Union President and the Trip Chairperson in writing within 48 hours of all sub- contracted trips. Trips will be posted and bid upon, as per mutually agreed upon procedure, starting at the top of the Trip Driver List - at the start of the school year and continuing on a rotation basis.
Trip Selection. [#] A "trip selection" shall mean the arrangement of trip sequences or trip pairings contained in the Trip Allocation into patterns of flying assignments constituting a monthly work schedule for regularly scheduled Flight Attendants. A trip selection may contain one (1) or more Flight Attendant positions. As used in this Agreement, "trip selection" shall mean both the pattern of flying and the Flight Attendant position.
