Common use of Attack Clause in Contracts

Attack. Any act of violence consisting of a criminal or illegal attack on persons and/or property in the country where you are staying, the purpose of which is to seriously disrupt public order by intimidation and terror and which is the subject of media coverage. This “attack” will have to be recognised by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry of the Interior. If you wish to cancel your policy but do not meet all the above conditions, please check the cancellation procedure stipulated in your policy. If several attacks take place on the same day, in the same country, and if the authorities consider it as one and the same coordinated action, this event will be considered as one and the same event.
