Attending college/school Sample Clauses

Attending college/school. Apprentices will be paid all wages and allowances, including but not limited to travel and site allowance as specified by this Agreement for time spent attending college/school in the course of their apprenticeship. All time spent attending college/school in the course of the apprenticeship will count as time served for all purposes.

  • Distance Education Distance education means instruction in which the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technologies. All distance education courses and sections will be designated as such in the District schedule of classes. Distance education courses include hybrid (see glossary) instruction and fully online instruction.

  • College has the sole right to control and direct the instructional activities of all instructors, including those who are SCHOOL DISTRICT employees.

  • Summer School SUCCESS employees are not eligible for this provision. Employees engaged in teaching summer school shall be granted two summer school days of absence in a single term for either sick leave or emergency leave, or a combination of both, non-accumulative.
