Common use of Authority of Arbitration Board Clause in Contracts

Authority of Arbitration Board. The Board of Arbitration shall have no power to alter, add to, subtract from, modify or amend this Collective Agreement, nor to give any decision inconsistent with it. The Board of Arbitration shall have the power only to settle grievances arising from the interpretation, application, administration or alleged violation of this Collective Agreement, including a question as to whether a matter is arbitrable, shall be arbitrable.
