Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science. Employees who currently hold, or who subsequently obtain, a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science from an institution approved by the Fire Chief will receive a pay increase of four percent (4%) above the base salary rate set forth in Appendix B. An employee with multiple degrees (associates, bachelors, masters) is only permitted to receive the pay increase for one degree.
