Back Wages. If it is found that the employee shall not have been disciplined, or that the penalty assessed him was too severe, then the employee's grievance shall be settled as shall be determined by the Employer and Union and the employee's payroll and personnel records shall be adjusted accordingly. If the employee is exonerated of the charges causing the suspension, he shall be compensated for all back wages due to the suspension. Such wages shall be based on regular base pay hours and not include overtime.
