Common use of Ballot Boxes Clause in Contracts

Ballot Boxes. The Union shall be permitted to place ballot boxes at Department Headquarters for the purpose of collecting member’s ballots on all Union issues subject to ballot. Such boxes shall be the property of the Union and neither the ballot boxes nor their contents shall be subject to the Department’s review. Responsibility for boxes rests with the Union. Use of boxes shall not interfere with the operations of the Employer.
