Bargaining Unit Description. The Umpqua Community College Part-Time Faculty Association (UCCPTFA), affiliated with the Oregon Education Association, is the exclusive collective bargaining representative of the bargaining unit comprised of all faculty employed by the Umpqua Community College (UCC) who teach at least five (5) credit hours or work at least 0.11 FTE over the fall, winter, spring, and summer terms combined, including librarians, faculty chairs, instructional coordinators, and other staff who perform instructional duties. Specifically excluded are full-time faculty (0.68 FTE and above), supervisory employees, confidential employees, classified bargaining unit employees, casual employees, part-time coaches and instructors who only teach community education classes.
