Site Safety Buyer shall comply with all federal, state, and local safety regulations and standards applicable to the Site and to the Equipment on which Siemens will perform the Services. Siemens shall not be obligated to commence or perform Services unless Buyer’s Site complies with all applicable safety requirements. In the event Buyer’s Site safety is non- compliant, Siemens may suspend the Services until such time as Buyer corrects the non-compliance. To the extent Siemens incurs additional time and expense as the result of Buyer’s non-compliance, Siemens shall be entitled to an equitable adjustment in the schedule, price and other affected provisions of the Agreement.

JOB SAFETY 13.1 It shall be the policy of the Employer that the safety of employees, the protection of work areas, the adequate training in necessary safety practices, and the prevention of accidents are a continuing and integral part of its everyday responsibilities.
Drug and Alcohol Testing – Safety-Sensitive Functions A. Employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are subject to pre-employment, post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation rules, Coast Guard Regulations (46 CFR Part 16) or the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. The testing will be conducted in accordance with current Employer policy.
Prescription Safety Glasses Prescription safety glasses will be furnished by the employer. The employer retains the authority to establish reasonable rules and procedures regarding frequency of issue, replacement of damaged glasses, limits on reimbursement costs and coordination with the employer's vision plan.
Child Safety Never leave a child unsupervised near a pool, not even for a second. During social gatherings at or near the pool, appoint a designated adult to protect young children from pool accidents. Children must be watched closely while swimming. Do not use floatation devices as a substitute for supervision. Toys can entice young children into the pool area. When not in use, clear the pool area of all toys.

Accident Prevention Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union agree that they mutually to maintain standards of safety and health in the Hospital in order to prevent accidents, injury, and illness. ected or Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Hospital agrees to accept as a member of its Accident Prevention Health and Safety Committee, at least one (1) representative sel appointed by the Union from amongst Bargaining Unit employees. The Hospital agrees to co-operate reasonably in providing necessary information to enable the Committee its functions. Meetings shall be held every second month or more frequently at the call of the Chair if required. The Committee shall maintain minutes of meetings and make the Same available for review. Any representative appointed or accordancewith hereof shall serve for a term of one (1) calendar year from the date of appointment which may be renewed for further of one (1) year. Safety Boots Each employee, after 3 months’ continuous service, will be reimbursed (on production of a receipt), the cost of one pair of safety boots (approved by the employer), in each year, to a maximum of $110.00. Wet Weather All protective clothing such as wet weather jackets, safety helmets, welding jackets, welding xxxxxxx, welding gauntlets, rubber boots, etc, (which remain the property of the Company), will be supplied on all occasions deemed necessary.
Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.
