13.2 It shall also be the responsibility of all employees to cooperate in programs to promote safety to themselves and the public and to comply with rules promulgated to insure safety. This employee responsibility shall include the proper use of all safety devices in accordance with recognized safety procedures.
JOB SAFETY. On behalf of the Employer, the Minnesota Judicial Branch Safety Policy and Program provides for the safety of employees by addressing safe working conditions, safe work areas and safe work methods. Employees shall have the responsibility to use all provided safety equipment and procedures in their daily work, shall cooperate in all safety and accident prevention programs, and shall diligently observe all safety rules promulgated by the Employer. The Statewide Safety Committee and Local LMCs/Safety Committees shall be the forum to address concerns about unsafe working conditions, unsafe work areas, and unsafe work methods. JOB SAFETY. The Employer and employees hereby agree to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Municipal Safety and Health Laws and Regulations, as well as the requirements of the “Authority Having Jurisdiction” on all jobs. The Employer shall be responsible for determining and advising employees of hazardous shop or job site conditions e.g. radiation, asbestos, toxins, carcinogens, etc. The Employer shall be responsible for maintaining the safe condition of all tools and equipment utilized by the employees. Normally there shall be at least two (2) men on each job. One (1) man on a job shall be allowed only in those situations where conditions safely allow one (1) man to work alone e.g., day work, emergency work and trim work where buildings are occupied and the employee is not exposed to excessive height or weight conditions. It is mutually agreed that one (1) man jobs have been performed in the past under safe conditions. Provided safe conditions exist, it is reasonable and proper to assign one (1) man to a job. The Employer shall furnish at no cost to the employee all safety equipment as required by applicable Federal, State and Municipal Safety and Health Laws and Regulations, as well as all equipment required by the “Authority Having Jurisdiction” on all jobs. No employee shall be required to work in any area where Epoxy Resins are being applied by other crafts, nor in areas where airborne asbestos is present without being provided prop- er and authorized safety equipment. All apprentices covered by this agreement shall obtain Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30 certification as part of their ongoing apprenticeship training. OSHA Annual Training and OSHA 30 Certification should be completed by employees covered by this agreement on their own time. RADIATION EXPOSURE: The Employer agrees to be bound by the rules and regulations established by the “Authority Having Jurisdiction” for safety on nuclear projects. Exposure to radiation shall be kept as low as possible. Any employee who receives his maximum radiation exposure limits prior to the end of any regular work week (Monday through Friday) will be transferred to other suitable work without loss of pay, or he shall be paid wages and fringe benefits for the week as if he had worked a full week.

11.3 Employees shall not be required to work with employees who have not been licensed by the POST Board if such license is required.
11.4 Disputes under the terms of this Article shall not be subject to arbitration under the grievance procedure; nor shall the provisions of this Article be admissible as evidence in any forum.
JOB SAFETY. The Contractor and its employees and any Subcontractors shall abide by all safety, fire and other laws or rules in force on the Property, including compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), the Washington Division of Safety and Health (DOSH), and any other state or local laws, rules, ordinances or regulations relating to the prevention and suppression of fires and the possession and maintenance of fire fighting manpower, tools and equipment.

JOB SAFETY. There shall be formed a Safety Committee not exceeding two (2) Employees from the Police Department appointed by the Union members as one (1) regular and one (1) alternate committee member, to work with the City's Safety Director concerning job safety. This committee shall meet if either the Police Employees or the Safety Director requests a meeting.
JOB SAFETY. On all energized circuits or equipment which carry 440 volts or over, or in transformer vaults, as a safety measure two (2) or more journeymen must work together.
