Basis for Reasonable Suspicion Finding to be Available Upon Request. If reasonable suspicion of alcohol or drug use is suspected, it shall be reported to a Deputy Chief on duty. He shall determine if drug testing is warranted. If so, he shall issue the prior orders to require that the test be taken. The Deputy Chief shall give his “reasonable suspicion” reasons for requiring the drug test to the Chief of Fire as soon as possible in writing. Such report shall be confidential, but a copy will be given to the employee, if requested, and it will also be released to anyone requested by the employee tested.
