Beginning July 1, 1998. The City shall make available health insurance coverage to the employee and his or her spouse or domestic partner. The City will pay on the employee’s behalf no more than $166.26 per month for an employee electing single party health coverage and no more than $332.52 per month for an employee electing two party coverage. The actual monthly amount of money the City will contribute on the employee’s behalf will be based on the employee’s total years of CalPERS service as provided in the following chart: The employee will pay the difference between the City’s monthly contribution and the actual monthly insurance premium charged by the health plan he or she has elected for retiree medical coverage. If during the term of this Agreement, the premiums for such health insurance are increased, the amount the City contributes shall increase no more than 4.5% above the previous year’s contribution. No increases in the amount the City contributes shall occur before July 1, 1999. Thereafter, any increase in the amount contributed by the City will occur on July 1 each year thereafter.

  • Tax Periods Beginning Before and Ending After the Closing Date The Company or the Purchaser shall prepare or cause to be prepared and file or cause to be filed any Returns of the Company for Tax periods that begin before the Closing Date and end after the Closing Date. To the extent such Taxes are not fully reserved for in the Company’s financial statements, the Sellers shall pay to the Company an amount equal to the unreserved portion of such Taxes that relates to the portion of the Tax period ending on the Closing Date. Such payment, if any, shall be paid by the Sellers within fifteen (15) days after receipt of written notice from the Company or the Purchaser that such Taxes were paid by the Company or the Purchaser for a period beginning prior to the Closing Date. The Sellers shall pay to the Company with the payment of any taxes due hereunder, the Sellers’ Pro Rata Amount of the costs and expenses incurred by the Purchaser or the Company in the preparation and filing of the Tax Returns. Any net operating losses or credits relating to a Tax period that begins before and ends after the Closing Date shall be taken into account as though the relevant Tax period ended on the Closing Date. All determinations necessary to give effect to the foregoing allocations shall be made in a reasonable manner as agreed to by the parties.

Local collective agreements that have more than (5) days shall be limited to five (5) days. These days shall not be used for the purpose of sick leave nor shall they be accumulated from year-to-year. Such provisions shall not be subject to local bargaining or mid-term amendments between local parties. Notwithstanding this stipulation, local collective agreement terms will need to align with the terms above.

  • Starting Date Unless a specific (fixed) starting date is duly justified and agreed upon during the preparation of the Grant Agreement, the project will start on the first day of the month following the entry info force of the Grant Agreement (NB : entry into force = signature by the Commission).
