Minimum Break between Shifts. (a) Where it is necessary to work extended overtime, it is agreed that no Employee shall resume or continue to work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty between the termination of the overtime and the commencement of the Employee’s ordinary work on the next day or shift. (b) In the event that an Employee agrees to a request from site management to resume or continue to work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty, the Employee shall be paid at double ordinary time rates until the Employee is released from duty for such period.

Minimum Break between Shifts. 21.4.1 The roster for all Employees, other than casual Employees, will provide for a minimum 10-hour break between the finish of ordinary hours of work on one (1) day and the commencement of ordinary hours of work on the following day. 21.4.2 Where the Company requires the Employee to resume or continue work without having enjoyed a minimum 10-hour break, the Employee shall be paid at 200% of the Employees Base Rate of Pay until released from duty. The Employee is then entitled to be absent from work until the 10-hour break has expired, without loss of pay for the Employees ordinary rostered hours of work during such absence.

Minimum Break between Shifts. Every endeavour will be made to provide an employee with a 10 hour break between shifts. An employee directed to recommence ordinary hours work without a 10 hour break will receive the ordinary rate of pay plus 100% for all time worked until such time as a break of not less than 10 hours has been received.
Minimum Break between Shifts. The employee shall, wherever practicable, be allowed a minimum break of ten consecutive hours between shifts. 8.5.1 If officers are required to commence duties less than ten hours after the completion of the previous duty owing to a recall or short notice recall, or the working of an extended duty, a ten-hour break penalty payment shall apply as though there had been no break in duties. This shall be paid as follows: (a) Where less than eight and one half hours has been worked in the period before the break, the additional hours shall be paid at the ordinary hourly rate until a total of eight and one half hours have been worked; (b) Where eight and one half-hours or more has been worked, the additional hours shall be paid at overtime rates. 8.5.2 A penalty payment shall not apply where a shift change has been arranged at the request of the officer. The hours that fall between the periods of duty counted for the ten hour break payment are not included in the calculation of hours worked for determining the payment.
Minimum Break between Shifts. 13.1.1. An Employee, where reasonably practicable, must have 10 consecutive hours off duty between rostered shifts. An Employee, other than a casual, who works so much overtime between the termination of their hours of work on one day and the commencement of their Rostered Working Hours on the next day, who has not had 10 consecutive hours off duty between those hours will, be able to have 10 consecutive hours off duty without loss of pay for the Ordinary Hours of work occurring during such absence. 13.1.2. If on the instructions of the Company, an Employee resumes or continues work without having had 10 consecutive hours off duty, the Employee shall be paid double time until they are released from duty and will be entitled to be absent until 10 consecutive hours off duty have been taken, without loss of pay for their Ordinary Hours of work that occurred during the absence.
