Common use of Benefits for Part-Time Teachers Clause in Contracts

Benefits for Part-Time Teachers. Part-time certified employees hired by the School Corporation on, or after, October 1, 2015 will be eligible to obtain coverage under the Corporation’s group life, health, dental/vision, and long- term disability plans. The Board will contribute a percentage of the premium for these insurance benefits for part-time teachers, which shall be computed by dividing the part-time teacher’s compensation by the number of contract hours worked by the part-time teacher to determine part- time teacher’s prorated contribution percentage.
