Benefits While on Compensation. Employees who are absent from work and in receipt of WCB wage-loss replacement benefits shall be considered as being on unpaid leave of absence, except that seniority and benefits shall be applied as follows: (a) Seniority hours pursuant to Article 11.1 shall continue to accrue. (b) Accumulative benefits shall continue to accrue for a maximum of six (6) calendar months. (c) The health and welfare provisions of Article 25 will continue to apply, except that the employee shall be required to pay the health and welfare premiums for absences in excess of six (6) calendar months.
