Blended Course a course in which the format of the course is adapted through use of communications technologies. Seat time will be significantly reduced in a blended course, based on the extent to which the course objectives can be met using alternative teaching methods. The faculty member links elements of traditional classroom instruction with relevant and meaningful online activities, assessing students in both components of the course. Blended courses typically are Level II courses. Blended courses must be approved by the ▇▇▇▇ and vice president of learning and student development.
