Blending requirements. After receipt of the order, the warehouse / LSP will debag / blend the materials from Interfood regarding the blend documentation as sent by the blend department from Interfood (confirmation). Special attention needs to be taken to the following:  The debagging area is separated from any other area (e.g. the raw material storage area) by a hygiene junction.  The blending recipes are according the latest specification / work instruction that have been agreed with Interfood.  The blend shall be homogenous, free flowing and free from lumps.  The blend is free of foreign materials. These foreign materials include paper and plastic packaging material, metal derived from process (equipment and knives and foreign materials derived from raw materials itself (like glass, metal, rubber, wood, stones, husk, shell, street dust, etc.)  No cross contamination will occur.  The blend needs to pass a sieve and metal detection before filling into the new packaging (or temporary packaging like big bags of silo trainer / container). The use of debagging lines for Interfood is preferred as a dedicated dairy line to reduce contamination risk. If lines are not dedicated for dairy products, the warehouse / LSP must clarify how contamination risks are managed. For blending / debagging in bulk, the blend must be delivered in a dry silo trailer / container that is cleaned regarding the transport policy.

Subrecipient shall work collaboratively with County, particularly the Information and Assistance Program (I&A), to ensure that clients who may need any services available through Older Americans Act or Older Californians Act Programs are referred to I&A for assistance in accessing these services.
