Importing Party definition

Importing Party means the organization, within the Importing State and charged by the laws of the Importing State with regulating the airworthiness and environmental certification, approval, or acceptance of civil aeronautical products, for:
Importing Party means the Party in which a Civil Aeronautical Product is imported.
Importing Party means the Party into whose regulatory system for civil aviation safety a civil aeronautical product is imported;

Examples of Importing Party in a sentence

  • Where the customs authorities of the importing Party have a reasonable doubt as to the origin of the goods for which preferential tariff treatment is claimed and/or there is a discrepancy with the information containing in the EOCVS, the customs authorities of the importing Party may require the submission of the original Certificate of Origin.

  • If the customs authorities of the importing Party are not satisfied with the outcome of the verification referred to in Article 4.30 of this Agreement, they may, under exceptional circumstances, request verification visits to the exporting Party to review the records referred to in Article 4.22 of this Agreement and/or observe the facilities used in the production of the goods.

  • Each Party shall ensure that an exporter or a producer that has completed and signed a certificate of origin, and that has reasons to believe that the certificate contains incorrect information, shall promptly notify in writing, of any change that could affect the accuracy or validity of the certificate of origin to all persons to whom he gave the certificate, as well as to its competent governmental authority or its designees and to the customs authority of the importing Party.

  • The Parties agree that import checks by the importing Party of consignments from the exporting Party shall respect the principles set out in Part A of Annex VIII to this Agreement.

  • For the purposes of obtaining preferential tariff treatment, the declarant shall submit a Certificate of Origin to the customs authorities of the importing Party in accordance with the requirements of this Section.

Importing Party means a Party to which transboundary movement of hazardous wastes is planned or takes place for the purpose of disposal therein or for the purpose of loading prior to disposal in an area not under the national jurisdiction of any State;
