Upon receiving the President’s or appropriate vice-president’s recommendation regarding the award or non-award of tenure or the non-renewal of a contract of the evaluated candidate(s), the Board of Trustees may meet with the chair of the Appointment Review Committee, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs or appropriate vice president, and any representative of a minority report, if applicable, to examine the records of the candidate(s). The Board shall give reasonable consideration to the recommendation of the College President or appropriate vice-president as to the award or non-award of tenure or the non-renewal of a contract to said candidate(s).
