Business and Other Taxes. The Tenant shall pay, promptly when due, to the taxing authorities or to the Landlord if it so directs, all business, sales, machinery and equipment taxes, rates or duties as well as any permit or licence fees, attributable to the use and occupancy of the Premises and the property, business, sales or income of the Tenant in respect of the Premises. If paid directly to the taxing authorities, the Tenant shall furnish to the Landlord evidence of payment satisfactory to the Landlord.

Business and Other Taxes. The Tenant covenants with the Landlord to pay, as and when the same become due, all Business Taxes of the Tenant and Other Taxes. The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord an amount equal to any Other Taxes, in amounts and at the same times as any such amounts are payable by the Landlord or upon demand at such other time or times as the Landlord from time to time determines. Notwithstanding any provision in this Lease to the contrary, payments by the Tenant on account of Other Taxes shall be deemed not to be Additional Rent, but the Landlord shall have all of the same remedies for and rights of recovery of such payments as it has for the recovery of Additional Rent. The Tenant shall promptly deliver to the Landlord on request, copies of assessments, notices, tax bills and other documentation received by the Tenant relating to any such taxes and receipts for payment of any such taxes by the Tenant.

The Tenant further covenants and agrees that upon written request of the Landlord the Tenant will promptly deliver to it for inspection receipts for payment of all taxes, payable .by the Tenant under this Section 6.01 which were due and payable up to one (1) month prior to such request, and in any event will furnish the Landlord if requested by the Landlord, evidence of such payments satisfactory to the Landlord before the 21st day of January in each year covering payments for the preceding year.

Business and Other Taxes. The Tenant shall pay and discharge within fifteen (15) days after they become due, and indemnify the City from and against payment of, and any interest or penalty in respect of, every tax, license, fee, rate, duty, and assessment of every kind arising from any business carried on by the Tenant in the Premises in respect of the use or occupancy of the Premises by the Tenant or in respect of the Tenant’s fixtures, leasehold improvement, equipment on or about the Premises.
