BUSINESS Section A: Payroll Deductions. 1. Upon written authorization of any certificated employee within the bargaining unit, the District shall deduct from the pay of such employee the monthly amount of dues required for membership in the Association, as certified by the Association, and transmit said dues to the treasurer of the Association according to current practice, unless otherwise advised by the Association. The District shall be held harmless, including reasonable attorney fees, for compliance with this provision.
