Calculating Seniority. Seniority will accrue for all bargaining unit employees, based on the following formula: one (1) point for each full month of full-time continuous service at MainePERS in the employee’s present classification and any higher classification previously held plus one- half (1/2) point for each full month of continuous full-time service in any lower classification at MainePERS. Seniority of part-time employees shall be computed on the basis of hours (exclusive of overtime hours) for which they have been compensated, with 173.3 hours equaling a month of service.
