Calculation of Leave Usage. 4.1.1. Calculation of leave usage for faculty members: Deductions will be made proportionate to assignments, in one-quarter-day increments, regardless of how many hours were involved. For example, if a faculty member misses an entire day's assignment, they will be charged one full day. If a faculty member misses one half of an entire day's assignment, the deduction will be one-half day.
