Calculation of Part-Time Faculty Pay. Except as provided below, compensation for each course taught by a faculty member working at the Category C rate will be computed by multiplying the FTEF associated with the course (as determined by the provisions of Article 14) by the appropriate Category C rate. For example: Soc& 101 – Introduction to Sociology 5-credit lecture/discussion course, FTEF = 0.3333 Quarterly contract amount at base rate = 0.3333 x $11,058 = $3685.63
