Common use of Call-Back - Minimum Hours Granted Clause in Contracts

Call-Back - Minimum Hours Granted. a. Glendale Water & Power Department, Public Works Department, Community Services and Parks Department field and operations unit employees, Information Services Department, Community Development/Neighborhood Services unit employees and Fire and Police Department unit employees called back to work, who are not assigned to standby, shall be granted a minimum of four (4) work time hours of overtime except as set forth in Section VIII, B-4. b. Additional hours may be guaranteed by department heads as needed. c. All call back overtime shall be paid at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for all hours of call back overtime except as otherwise stated in this article.
