CALL-OUTS AND COURT APPEARANCES. Section 17.1 - Call-out When called out, an employee shall be compensated at the appropriate overtime rate, with a minimum payment of four (4) hours at time and one-half (1-1/2) the regular rate. If the call-out is voluntary, the overtime compensation begins when the employee arrives at the station or crime scene. If the employee is ordered to return to work the overtime compensation begins when the employee receives the order to return to work. The supervisor shall specify at the time of the call-out whether the call-out is voluntary or ordered.
