Cancellation of a Shift on a Stat Holiday. In the event that it becomes necessary to cancel a previously scheduled shift on a Statutory /Recognized Holiday, the cancellation shall be offered to employees in order of seniority, subject to geographic considerations, requisite skills and continuity of care, commencing with the most senior employee scheduled. If such is the case, managers/supervisors, shall ensure that any lieu days already scheduled by the employee for the stat holiday are replaced with alternate lieu days, vacation days or added back to the schedule.

If such is the case, managers/supervisors, the Employer shall ensure that any lieu days already scheduled by the employee nurse for the stat holiday are replaced with alternate lieu days, vacation days or added back to the schedule.
