Personal Leave Days. Section 1. All employees after completion of six (6) months of service shall be entitled to receive personal leave days in the following manner:

Personal Leave Days. 8.4.1 Personal leave days are provided so that full-time, twelve (12) month faculty and faculty assigned to work forty (40) hour work weeks totaling fifteen-hundred sixty (1,560) hours per year (three-quarter [3/4] time) may have paid time off to attend to or care for personal matters.
Personal Leave Days. The University shall grant each member of the bargaining unit three (3) personal leave days in each calendar year. These days cannot be saved or banked. They will be taken at a time mutually agreeable between the Employee and the University. In approving such leave departmental operating requirements shall be the major consideration. Permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. These days do not affect the vacation or sick leave credits.
Personal Leave Days. A maximum of two (2) paid leave days per year for ten-month employees and part-time employees and three (3) paid leave days per year for twelve-month employees (non-accumulative) for personal business. Application for personal leave must be made in writing at least 24 hours in advance except in cases of emergency. Permission must be received from the immediate supervisor. Personal leave days will not be taken preceding or following a holiday or a paid leave day or to extend a vacation time.

Personal Leave Days. Each teacher shall be allowed up to three personal leave days each school year. The days are to be taken with the approval of the principal.
Personal Leave Days. At the beginning of each leave year, each bargaining unit member assigned to a 2,496-hour work year shall be credited with 48 hours of personal leave to be used for any purpose. Each bargaining unit member assigned to a 40- or 42-hour work week shall be credited with a prorated number of hours of personal leave. The days must be used in full shifts (no partial shifts) and must be used during the leave year. All unused days are forfeited at the end of the leave year. Requests to use personal leave days will need to be scheduled and authorized in the same manner as annual leave is scheduled and approved. Personal leave benefit will be pro-rated for part-time employees. This additional personal leave will be taken and used without additional personnel costs or use of overtime to backfill for unit members on personal leave.
Personal Leave Days. All employees shall be granted three (3) personal leave days. Employees shall notify their Supervisor at least 24 hours in advance. All persons will be allowed to carry over one Personal Business day into the next year for a total of four (4). No more than three (3) consecutive days shall be allowed to be taken off at one time.
