Canine Care. Officers assigned to canine duty shall receive one (1) hour per shift to provide canine care. The employee will be compensated for one (1) hour for canine care on the employee’s day off. There shall be no premium compensation for canine care unless the employee works in excess of one hundred seventy-one (171) hours in the twenty-eight (28) consecutive day work period provided for in 22.2.
