Cause for Deletion Sample Clauses

The 'Cause for Deletion' clause defines the specific circumstances or reasons under which certain data, content, or records may be removed from a system or agreement. Typically, this clause outlines what constitutes valid grounds for deletion, such as violation of terms, legal requirements, or user requests. For example, it may allow for deletion if content is found to be unlawful or if a user withdraws consent. Its core practical function is to provide clear guidelines for when and why deletion actions can be taken, ensuring both parties understand the conditions that justify removal and helping to manage compliance and risk.
Cause for Deletion. Should any article, section, or clause of this Agreement be finally declared illegal by a court of competent jurisdiction or be in conflict with regulations established by the Illinois Community College Board, said section or clause, as the case may be, shall be automatically deleted from this Agreement to the extent that it violated the law. The remaining articles, sections, and clauses shall remain in full force and effect for the duration of the Agreement if not affected by the deleted article, section, or clause.
