Cell staining. Cells were transferred to FACS tubes and washed with 2mls of wash buffer (PBS + 2% FCS + 0.05% sodium azide) and centrifuged (5 mins at 1000g). Cells were resuspended by agitation and the relevant Ab cocktail was added from the list given in table 2.1. Cells were incubated in the dark for 30 mins and washed and centrifuged again. Excess buffer was removed and cells were resuspended by agitation. Cells were then acquired by FACS or fixed by addition of an equal volume of 4% paraformaldehyde and stored in the dark at 4⁰C until acquisition.
